Can I really Drive in the Carpool Lane by Myself
Yes - Recently passed legislation AB71 allows you to -
drive in the carpool lane by yourself but you must
- buy/lease a qualifying vehicle
List of Qualifying Vehicles
Basically, its any highway capable vehicle
- powered by electricity (EV/NEV) or natural gas vehicle (NGV)
- Currently Hybrid vehicles are excluded from the carpool lane - Find out the reason
